The Branching Out Event has been held annually for the last couple of years originally delivered by Prospects and now led by Brent Council. the event is aimed at 14-25 year olds with SEND looking for support with their decisions on their careers  and education. Feedback from parents who attend the events are important and has transpired over the years to help the Council and Prospects provide key information and support accordingly. A TIMETABLE OF ALL WORKSHOPS  AND SESSIONS AND MADE THEM AVAILABLE ON EVENTBRITE FOR CUSTOMERS BOOK. WE ALSO  PROVIDED DETAILS OF WORKSHOPS AT THE EVENT IN LIVE TIME

THE ENVIRONMENT WAS TOO  LOUD OR TOO BUSY

WORKSHOPS & SESSIONS THAT ADHERED TO DELIVERING SUPPORT IN A QUIET ENVIRONEMNT PLUS WE ORGANISED A WORKSHOP DEDICATED TO  A POSITIVE WELLBEING AND ALSO PROVIDED  A TIMEOUT SPACE FOR  REFLECTION AND  QUIET TIME!

YOU WANT MORE SUPPORT FROM THE EDUCATION SECTORS FOR 16 -18 YEAR OLDS

MADE SURE WE ORGANISED A RANGE OF COLLEGES AND SUPPROTED INTERNSHIP PROVIDERS TO ATTEND FROM BRENT AND EXTERNAL TO BRENT, AS WELL AS ARRANGING FOR A RENOWNED UNIVERSITY AND MEDIA TRAINING ORGANISATION TO BE HERE

YOU WANT SUPPORT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO THRIVE IN THE WORKPLACE AND SOCIALISE BETTER

CREATE A ROOM  SOLELY DEDICATED TO EMPLOYERS  WHO WANT TO HEAR FROM  CANDIDATES WITH A DISABILITY,  LOOKING FOR WORK. PLUS, WE ARE PROMOTING RECRUITMENT TO SOCIAL GROUPS SUCH AS THE BRENT  YOUTH PARLIAMENT & BRENT YOUTH FORUM

THERE WAS NO REPRESENTATION FROM  THE SOCIAL CARE TEAM TO  SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE'S  TRANSITION TO  ADULTHOOD

WE HAVE ORGANISED FOR STAFF FROM THE TEAMS TO HAVE A STALL AND DELIVER A WORKSHOP TO SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, TRANSITION TO ADULTHOOD
