Within Brent, there are many youth groups such as Beavers, Guides, Cubs and Scouts, Sea Army RAF Fire Police - cadets (uniformed groups), a young people’s sailing club at the Brent Reservoir, swimming clubs, Martial Arts, Guides, football clubs and many more. Young people who join get the chance to have many new experiences. Some youth groups may also have a youth committee or forum, which is important for ensuring that the youth group is youth–led. Many youth groups run different clubs to cater for the needs of different age groups. This also provides a progression for young people as their needs and interests change.

Use the directory field above to search for an activity or category which interests you.

Activities organised by clubs and groups can provide fun and enjoyment, they are a good opportunity for young people to develop and learn new skills, meet new people and participate in community events. Remember the younger you start learning a skill or discipline the better you’ll be.

Just Cravings are hosting a Community Youth Football Tournament for the local area where like-minded local businesses who, like Just Cravings, truly believe in giving back and playing an active role in the community – especially when it comes to supporting young people. We all came together and collectively sponsored this event with the shared belief that even small actions can make a meaningful difference. This is just the beginning of what we hope will grow into a wider community movement.

With the summer holidays now underway, we felt this would be a great opportunity to create a safe, fun and inclusive space for young people to come together. More than just a football match, this event is designed to be a platform for families, residents, local authorities and public sector partners to connect – as we all make up the community and each have an important role to play.
