Volunteer It Yourself We help young people learn trade skills whilst helping to renovate vital community facilities. Generally, we work with learners between the ages of 14-24 but in some cases can take older or younger learners. Every learner has a chance to leave with an accreditation and in some instances leave with multiple. Those with an avid interest can be moved on to the progressions team for further support.
The Conservation Volunteers The project is a 2 year project funded by Brent council to improve biodiversity in some of the borough’s more run down green spaces.
We will be working all over the borough carrying out practical conservation and we need volunteers to help us achieve our goal of increasing biodiversity in Brent.
No prior knowledge is needed, we will explain how to use all the tools and teach the necessary skills. It is a great way to get outdoors, get some exercise, socialise, and learn about nature. All while improving the environment.
