Here at First Rung we have been supporting young people across North London since 1983.
As a smaller training provider, we offer a different post-16 option, First Rung specialises in supporting young people into training and apprenticeships. No matter what qualifications they receive we have a programme to support their needs.
We offer learners:
A caring, genuine and highly professional staff who do everything they can to help young people achieve their objectives including vocational qualifications, jobs, further education and apprenticeships
High expectations for all our learners, regardless of their starting point.

Training is delivered from both our Ponders End EN3 and Colindale NW9 centres.

✔ Alternative Provision for Year 10 and 11 students at risk of disengaging from school
✔ Specialised Support for 16-24-year-olds with an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP)
✔ Health & Social Care Training (Level 2 & 3) for 19+
