Young Filmmakers – Young Film Academy Awards

Young Film Academy (YFA), is the UKʼs leading provider of filmmaking courses, filmmaking programmes for schools, community filmmaking projects and filmmaking outreach events for young people aged 5-18. As part of our annual Young Film Academy Awards, we are opening up an Open Category for anyone aged 14-18 from anywhere in the world to submit their short film – regardless of whether they have attended one of our courses. This is a fantastic chance for young people with a passion for filmmaking to showcase their talent, gain recognition for their work and attend an event with other young filmmakers!

We would be super grateful if you could help us spread the word about this opportunity within your network, whether through your newsletter, social media, or directly with the young people you engage with. Or please pass this on to the appropriate person in your organisation who can share.
