Virtual Inclusive Games
The Virtual Inclusive Games is our inclusive offer for disabled young Londoners through a series of sporting challenges over an eight week period. All the challenges are devised and demonstrated by disabled young people with the idea of maximising participation amongst those with disabilities throughout the capital. It doubles as an awareness piece so able bodied engagement is also encouraged. We have a group of athlete ambassadors who act as role models and include people such as Alex Iwobi, Rory Burns, Emily Defroand, David Weir and more. Young people can submit their scores to earn points for their borough and the chance to win prizes via the link below:
LYG33
The LYG33 program is looking to recruit a diverse group of young people to represent their borough as an ambassador to help shape the London Youth Games in the future. It’s a great opportunity for them to develop their professional skills, access courses and coaching qualifications, be introduced to different industries including media, sport and more as well as trips (when lockdown restrictions are lifted) and inspirational speakers. Obviously this is also a great thing for them to have on a CV or use as part of a UCAS application. We are only looking for one or two candidates from the borough at this moment in time aged between 14-21.
