SUMMER YOUTH PROJECT AUDITIONS NOW OPEN 
Applications are now open for SPID’S Summer Production 2024! A FREE programme for emerging artists. 
 
The heartfelt and impactful original play ‘Smile’ will be the first production hosted at the recently refurbished ‘SPID Theatre’.
 
We are on the lookout for young people aged 13-25 to join the resistance! 
 
Our Summer Project gives young people aged 13 - 25 the opportunity to work together with a professional creative team. There are opportunities for performers and off-stage roles in the company.
 
Through a 2-week intensive, the company will stage a large scale theatre production through a collaborative process that provides a unique stepping stone for performers, stage crew, technicians, and more, with an interest in the arts. The programme will culminate in public showings of the production. 
Applications are open until 24th June, 11am. Auditions take place on the 26th and 27th of June (times tbc)
• TO APPLY, you must be 
• Aged 13-25
• Have an interest in theatre on stage or behind-the-scenes ones 
• Available to participate in the full 2-week programme as well as the performance dates outside of this.
