Open Doors Education and Training C.I.C have recently secured funding to deliver the second iteration of Open Doors Education and Training's NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) program within Greater London and are currently looking to engage with with young people.
The program is designed to particularly target Gypsy, Roma and Traveller young people (16-25) who are outside education and employment, but we will also consider referrals for students from other backgrounds.
What does the program entail? Using a tailored blend of one-to-one mentoring, careers guidance and education, each student will receive five hours of online tuition per week over the course of roughly 30 weeks. At the end of the program, students will be invited to sit examinations in Functional Skills English and Maths and receive the qualifications needed to pursue further education or employment. All the places are funded and free of charge to students and organisations.
