LSA

LSA is a free to attend state-funded sixth form academy for 16 - 19-year-old, based in Islington, set up by the makers of Top Boy, the James Bond films, the Harry Potter series, Baby Driver and many more to diversify the industry. Students develop their creative, technical, and academic skills to pave their journey into the film and TV industry. All students work towards a UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma which is equivalent to 3 A-Levels. Students also pick up an additional qualification from the following options: A-level Maths, A-level English Literature or Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). To find out more about the course at LSA, please click here or watch this short video about LSA.

We do not have a deadline as we operate on a rolling admission. However, we will trigger a waiting list when we get to a certain number of applications. Therefore, we recommend that students get their applications in as soon as possible. Students who are ready to apply, can head over to LSA.ac.uk/apply.

If students are unsure what pathway they would like to do, we are running exciting hands-on virtual taster sessions for prospective students to get a feel for the pathways that students can study at LSA.

Taster sessions:

Craft - Monday 24th January (5-6pm)

Technical - Monday 7th February (5-6pm)

Students can sign up for the taster sessions and Open Events via this link - https://lsa.ac.uk/events/.
