"I started Karate because I thought 'Well I'll give it a go' and now it's so fun I wish I could do it every day. I've learnt a lot and I like sparring. I learn self defence and other great things. The things I like the most are kicks strikes and stances."

Dear Sensei 
My son was a bit upset last night after you explained he had some more work to do before his grading so I offered to buy him a green belt (as a joke) - he replied seriously "No daddy you can't I won't have earned it." It is good to see that he is growing up with an understanding of the value of achievement. He is now working hard to attain the standard you demand. It proves to me (again) that Karate is less about combat and more about personal development and character building. Thanks again
