Connect B4 Correct 12 Week Therapeutic Parenting Online Training Programme Taster Session

We are Connect B4 Correct Clinical Partnership, part of the Succeed Partnership Group. We have been established by Dr Lesley Hanney (Strategic Lead) and Jill Hanney (Clinical Lead).
We want to introduce our free online taster session facilitated by Jill Hanney (EMDR Specialist and CBT Psychotherapist) who will be promoting our 12 Week Therapeutic Parenting Online Training that will be starting in September.
The Therapeutic Parenting Training is an educational programme designed to help foster parents, adoptive parents and caregivers of children and young people who have attachment difficulties and complex and developmental trauma who are presenting with emotional, cognitive, social, and challenging developmental and behaviours and concerns. The therapeutic parenting training programme helps foster and/or adoptive parents and caregivers to understand the causes and develop the skills necessary to support their child or young person's healing and growth.

The programme consists of online training held every Wednesday, with breakout opportunities and reflective practice and other access to other relevant educational materials that cover topics such as early brain development, the impact of trauma on the brain, trauma-informed parenting, attachment theory, emotional regulation, and behaviour management techniques.
The goal of a therapeutic parenting training programme is to supply foster and/or adoptive parents and caregivers the knowledge and tools necessary to create a safe and nurturing environment for their child or young person, which can help improve their overall well-being and increase their chances of success in life. The programme is offered by an experienced and qualified psychological therapeutic professional.
