We are excited to share with you our new Young Leaders Programme, designed specifically to empower and support young people within the SEND community. As valued partners in our shared mission of supporting families, we would be grateful for your assistance in spreading the word about this initiative.
We have created an informative leaflet that outlines the programme's objectives, benefits, and how young people can get involved. We believe this opportunity could significantly benefit the young people and families within your network.

Would you be able to help us by:
• Sharing our Young Leaders leaflet with your community
• Displaying the information in your facilities
• Including it in your communications to families
• Forwarding to any young people who might be interested
We have attached the leaflet and registration link to this email.

DYCE

Exciting times for DYCE! Our empathy-driven, interactive drama workshops continue to make an impact, bringing powerful, youth-created performances to school classrooms across North West London. With 24 schools already on board and 3,055 young people engaged, we are well on our way to reaching our goal of 30 schools by the end of the academic year!

Workshops explore current social issues through immersive storytelling, giving students a chance to step into the shoes of others and explore different perspectives.

Recent highlights include:
Beneath the Surface now has a tailored SEND version with has enhanced our ability to collaborate inclusively.
The Supermarket workshop has sparked deep discussions about the cost-of-living crisis, making economic challenges relatable and thought-provoking for students.
Hope Road has received particularly powerful feedback, resonating deeply with young audiences as it explores migration, political instability and the power of propaganda.

We’ve captured some fantastic moments along the way

“I love that it showed us that we all deserve hope and respect!”
- Student feedback

“This workshop is extremely useful as it helps us understand things that happen all around,
I really enjoyed this!”
- Student feedback

“Our students thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and taking on the different roles. Children who normally shy away in the classroom felt confident to participate and share their ideas. It was inclusive and made everyone feel a part of something.”
- Teacher feedback

A huge thank you to all the schools, facilitators, and participants who make this work possible!
