Bollo Brook Youth Centre is a place for young people to hang out with friends, get support and advice, and take part in fun activities, including music production, arts and crafts, dance, sports, cooking and debating.
With support from CEZ funding, seventeen young people created a film centred around cultural tea drinking, race, migration, and settling in the UK
The film steps into the bustling tea houses of Park Royal and Acton and allows you to immerse yourself in the wide-ranging discussions of young people from Bollo Brook Youth Centre. You can see how tea from all over the world brings people together over debates about some of life’s most important topics.
Beyond the screen, tea has established strong connections with the Middle Eastern community in the area. This success story showcases the power of storytelling to build bridges and foster understanding.
