BeeZee Families
This programme is for families with at least one child who:
• is 5-18 years old
• has a BMI > 91st centile (overweight)
• Lives/goes to school/is registered with a GP in Brent
...but the whole family, including siblings, are encouraged to come along and participate together!
Here is an overview of the key services we can provide for your children and families:
1. BeeZee Academy: A totally online service to learn as a family about making simple, healthy changes. You choose the topics; you choose the pace!
2. BeeZee Live: A FREE virtual weekly session for 10 weeks, delivered by our trained Nutritionists covering making healthy changes in a fun and engaging way for the whole family. No-one can see you and you don’t have to speak, just type into the chat bar. Simple!
3. BeeZee Families: A FREE, award-winning, in-person service 12-week programme delivered near you for the whole family. Make friends and learn about simple healthy changes as a family. Weekly physical activities, cook-along’s, free snacks, and simple advice and support from people that care.
Our award winning BeeZee Families programme is starting in April/May! 🥳
This is a 12-weeks, in-person programme where we work with families to create long-lasting, healthy habits. A few topics we cover are: Breakfast, Snacks & Drinks, Portion Size, Cooking! During these sessions we will be covering a range of nutrition topics, providing support and advice for children and parents, and running an hour of physical activity with qualified sports coaches for in-person sessions.
Our next Families programme is going to start from 30th April and below is the list of our sessions and venues:
Tuesday 4:45-6:45pm at Wembley Primary school HA9 7NW
Wednesday 4:30-6:30pm at Harlesden Primary school NW10 8UT
Thursday 4:30-6:30 at Anson Primary school NW2 4AB
For organisation/professional refers: Any individual (spiritual leader, community member, teacher, health professional etc.) with parental consent can sign families up at Refer a Client to BeeZee Bodies .
Lastly, if you have any events scheduled that we could also come along and share our FREE (council funded) services with your families, please get in touch!
